Need help fro Umidigi

I bought a UMIDIGI C note 2 (last week from Gearbest.pt) and it has no sound on a normal phone call.

The other person ears me and it works with loudspeaker and earphones.

Cheked all sound/call configurations and even reseted it to factory values.

Any suggestions ?

Is it software or hardware problem ?

Is it reparable  or do i have to send it back ?

Please reply ASAP

You should get Preloader com port, not MediaTek USB port. Try to first connect the phone, then press all the three sied buttons and click on the download button in the flasher app while you still keep the buttons pressed until the red progress bar appears.

Unfortunately it's most probably the failure of the earpiece speaker itself. Maybe it's just a contact issue, not the speaker itself is defective, but it should be checked by a repairman.

To be honest C Note 2 is actually good compared to other phone with similar price, that's why I really don't know why they screw it up by using UMI OS and not stock Android like in Crystal. Hopefully they're listening to us, Umidigi make a really nice and affordable phone with this C Note 2, and it will be really popular if they make it with stock Android.

Yes, I agree with You. Design, material and hardware it's very good for this price, but UMI OS is unnecessary superstructure when the stock Android is better and worry less.

I absolutely agree with @Bleep @BysTri . I already own C Note 2, but as soon as I get it I turned off all the updates and the phone is very good.  I hope the programmers will find a solution to the problem.

Every time I try to get Preloader port, guided by your advice, I get the same result Media Tek USB port. Some times was other fault note like this on pic

Please copy the folder of the flasher app to the root of your hard disk and run it from there.
