Edited by Boyington214 at 2015-11-7 22:16 \n\nHey

Next week I will receive my EMAXmini.  I want to have CM12.1 on it (the reason to bought it) but  now I have read a recovery is missing, so I want to install TWRP.
Can anybody confirm if the TWRP-Installer from the Downloads is working right ? Or will I have a bricked phone after using it ?

Thx

Next week I will receive my EMAXmini.  I want to ...

TWRP is working, also CM 12, but the problem is that if you want to unlock bootloader, you will probably get bootloop. I had same problem couple days ago. In thread "eMax mini STOCK rom ... ", there is unbrick kit but I don't know how it works. If I got a bootloop, in that thread was older repair kit and I unbricked my emax mini by this older kit. Unfortunately, IMEI numbers were removed, so now I have working CM 12, but without IMEI numbers.
Back to your question: TWRP and Cyanogenmod 12 are working (there are some minor bugs), but you have to get rid of bootloop.

Has anybody tried to install the TWRP-image by the "Root-Recovery"-option in RootJoy ? Or does it not matter if using TWRP Installer or RootJoy for installing TWRP ?

I've tried with both and it's the same result, it gets stuck on umi's boot screen when I try to boot into recovery.
I've also tried with another version of the installer and also via adb, does anybody has the same results? Could it be a different version of the phone?
