Google Play and Recovery problems [SOLVED]

I have a problem and hope anyone can help me... I have not much idea on these stuffs so I would appreciate a full explanation

There are some apps from Google Play I cannot download because it says it's not compatible with my phone, appart from that I got the error RPC:S-7:AEC-7 "it's not possible to recover information from the server" while trying to update Google . So I tried to follow the solution given in other thread at this forum and downloaded the Gapps from here:

Then I coppied them to my SD card, turned off the phone and tried to enter the recovery mode pressing VOLUME UP + POWER, once done that it appears to be an error since it says "No command" and a dead android, there are no menus either. I tried all the buttons and I managed to get a menu pressing again VOLUME UP+ POWER. So then I went to "apply update from sdcard" and I selected the archive "gapps-L-4-21-15.zip".
But then there's a new problem that says

"Error: Invalid OTA package, missing scatter. Instalation aborted"

And now I don't know what else I could do! Would you mind helping this poor rookie? I feel a little bit stupid, since I know it has to be easy to solve, but I'm worried about wipping everything or touch something I shouldn't touch.

I have to say that I could fix all the problems thanks to Jandrivirix.
He kindly explained to me how to do the recovery with TWRP and how to install from there the Gapps. Once I turned on the phone again, the problem was still there and I could not download some apps I needed because it said it was not compatible. However, I tried using "Market Helper" and this time it worked perfectly (before installing the new Gapps it used to say Error 507 when trying to install the apps).

So I can say all these problems are over!

you may flash, using the TWRP again, for example the following GApps version:

open_gapps-arm64-5.1-pico-20151023.zip

and not to use "Market Helper".
