Each UMI phone receives updates and there's no a smart device on Earth that receives updates forever. Of course, that depends on your taste, how many updates and how many and what kinds of bugs you think acceptable.

UMI Rome X is basically compatible with Rootjoy but downloadable ROM files are not yet available. I don't yet have specific information about the release date of the first ROM.

There are two flashtool ROM updates for eMAX mini in the ROM section. In my opinion, to use them is even simpler than Rootjoy. The only confusing thing is to put your phone into download mode before the flashing process begins but I provided a guide for that.
