Hi,

I am using the unofficial basic firmware and it is almost perfect, well at least much better with the official one, very stable and does not drain the battery much.  I only have one small problem with it. Sometimes after I run some applications (for example Google Maps) a screen saver shows up with an analog clock and umidigi logo. That happens even during using the phone, i.e. touching the screen. I need to press the home button so it dissapears then I can go back to the application I was using by long-pressing the home button. That does not happen each time and only with some apps but it is a bit confusing. Does anyone have a clue on how to disable this screensaver? I have Screen Saver setting set to off in the Display settings, but this is something else.

Is there anyway to root this device?
I have a device that is factory resetting itself and I lost access to the data.
I need an ability to clone the system partition to be able to recover the data.

It turned out this smart phone is the only from Umidigi that does not allow for rooting.

In AliExpress I can no longer find it.
