Hello is it not possible to change the Launcher?
I've tried to clear the permissions for the default launcher, Initiator without success.

Hi,
No, currently it's not possible but the developers already know about that request.

An ability to allow alternative launcher like Nova to be set would be a big improvement alternatively at least ability to change Grid Size.

Edited by dimfrances at 2017-8-30 06:44 \n\nHello, currently I can say I'm satisfied with my C2.
However I expected the battery to drain less fast.
My biggest problem is that pre-installed newsfeed hotnews on the 2rd page.
It's really annoying and I don't know how to uninstall it.
Pls help

Umidigi it would be great if you provide a stock Android ROM for the C2 soon. Performance will be much better and the UmiOS is not optimized and translated fully in other languages ( dutch in my case ).

Hi,

1. Go to Settings --> Apps
2. Tap the 3-dot menu button in the top right corner and select 'Show system'
3. Scroll down to 'Intelligent Aggregating Page' and select it.
4. FORCE STOP  then DISABLE.
Now the newsfeed page has been disappeared.

The performance wouldn't be better with stock Android, rather the opposite is the truth. The UMI OS system is being improved but it won't be cancelled.

Can you explain better the sentence "the developers already know about that request"? It means that very soon there will be released an upgrade that allow at leasts to change the default launcher?

This phone is full of bloatware and it really is a nonsense to sell a so interesting phone with such dirty software. Not at all a good presentation for UMIDIGI.

Please let me know asap your plans before I give back this phone to Amazon,

M

Hi again,
Thank you very much for your response, problem solved.
Unfortunately other issues started appearing.
First of all, suddenly a button shaped as a globe appeared which was moving across my screen.
After some effort I think it has dissappeared I think. After that I noticed another one.
You can see it in the pic attached, in the middle right of the screen. I tried everything, but It won't be deleted/hidden.
Any suggestions ?
I wish these things won't continue every here and then, it's very annoying,
I never experienced this kind of issues when operating official android systems.

You are wrong. The system is full of crap bloat apps and does not....i repeat does not run smooth at all. System freezes now and then , the camera app is crap and very slow , pictures in low light are all green. Can't even use Sygic Navigation app. Phone goes in sleep mode when trying to use...everytime
It would be better Umidigi developes an update to fix all issues.....i hope so
