I remember reading it was just for MT65xx based SoC. Check twice, double check twice. Don't brick yo ...

Oh shoot you are right.. I mixed up the 7 and the 5. >.< Well, I've got some more time to figure this out cause I just blew my installation for Cygwin... Looks like I may have to fire up the ol' Linux machine.

Edit: Well.. What do you know.. I mistakenly installed the 32bit over the 64bit cygwin.. (since I needed the clear package.. I'm too tired to understand what I am doing atm) and now all the cyanogen repo's are gone.. Looks like i'm building purely on Linux..

Ah yes, May need incase I do screw up! Thankyou.

EDIT: I feel the kitchen should work with the MT6752.. Unless all the programs and such are hardware specific, I'll dig abit deeper..
EDIT2: Hmm, It seems like the M2M is a MT6752. But the kitchen sees it as a 6572.. This may actually work out..

Edited by J.Naw at 2015-10-13 05:10 \n\nManaged to get another step ahead. I am testing the TCL M2M rom with the extracted kernel and changed mounted points in the META-INF.. Lets see if it will actually install. If not, more tinkering...

EDIT: Nope.. Just a bootloop, Maybe I didn't use the propper mount points...
EDIT2: Well shoot, Now I am unable to boot into recovery. Usually to fix this I'd do a battery pull but.. The body is a uni-body... Any ideas?

I've done that but it keeps looping the UMI logo.. I tried to use spflashtool, which worked but now it wont boot at all.

if you stuck you have to add preloader and Formal All + Download with http://www.needrom.com/wp-conten ... 15_06_04-s7yler.zip then Formal All + Download with eMAX_2015_07_15_ROOT and add you 2 imei one by one after reboot

After finishing installation of Android s7yer, check new IMEI numbers with *#06#. You should see both IMEI numbers are 000000000000000. Now you can write new IMEI numbers to this phone.

  • Dial *#*#3646633#*#* to enter Engineering Mode
  • Choose Connectivity / CDS Information / Radio Information / Phone 1 choices
  • Write AT +EGMR=1,7,"123456789012345" instead of AT+
  • Please note that there must be a space between AT and +. You should type new IMEI number instead of 123456789012345.
  • Press SEND AT COMMAND button. If you'll see AT Command is mSent message, command was sent successfully.
  • Reboot and set all step when choose Phone 2.
  • Write AT +EGMR=1,10,"123456789012345" instead of AT+
  • Please note that there must be a space between AT and +. You should type new 2nd IMEI number instead of 123456789012345. If you don't have 2nd IMEI number, you may want to type original IMEI number of your phone.
  • Restart the phone and dial *#06# and check your new IMEI numbers.

Okay. Thanks for the Info. I've tried it earlier with that exact rom but now the UMI logo doesn't show up. I hold the power button and absolute jack happens.. So, I'm downloading another Stock rom directly from the Forums here and i'll see if it works..
