Hi,
i have 2 problems with my new Umidigi G.
1) In the Wifi network list is strange wifi named "NVRAM WARNING: Err = 0x10", which are not does not exist. Checked by another 2 phones. This defect is present since the first start of the phone.
I tried factory reset, rom upgrade to version 1.6. By the way, why the new ROM is not offered in the system update aplication? Problem still present.

2) me phone can not connect and does not see any 5ghz wifi network.

Edited by n2k66 at 2017-7-20 03:05 \n\n[size=15.6735px]NVRAM WARNING: Err=0x10. This is because of the misconfigured WiFi file inside the NVRAM folder of the Android system.
[size=15.6735px]This can only be fixed by rooting the device. It is not easy to root Android 7.0 and it will void the warranty of the device.

Is it possible to update ROMS without rooting?

Sure is, in fact you won't be able to update at ROM if the device is rooted.
