So I must say my mobile phone is now running thanks to the update so far very good.

I only fall on the battery so that the battery stays quite so long and the camera is still improved, as well as the telephone reception in houses is bad.
It is also partly very warm when charging and playing. The display also draws a lot of battery, even though it is set to Automatic and is set to about 25%. Please umi works on it. ;)
Maybe you can also install so you can choose between only 4g / 3g etc.

For the people who have problems, which I had at the beginning also with the mobile phone. As a small tip.
I have flashed all updates time, with the firmware upgrade mode. One by one and the phone did not turn on until I was up to date.

Then I switched on the phone. I just left out an update.
Perhaps this brings you something.

Hopefully, umi will release the source code so that there may be custom roms, please.

When installing TWRP recovery, the system enters bootloop

Comments

You don´t have to install supersu, are you sure you had the correct TWRP image?  Post time 2017-7-24 13:40

I have also the touchscreen sensitivity problem. The other problem that I have since the very first ROM is that sometimes the screen get so saturated, this problem is more common when I'm watching photos in the galery.

Comments

You can adjust the saturation in Settings --> Display --> Miravision after setting the Picture mode to User Mode.  Post time 2017-7-24 09:54

bencebacsi, can you please anwser my 2 questions??
1: Will there be an emergency update that will fix the touchscreen bug or issue (and yes, I reflashed the software with SPFT and formated the system, but it doesn't fixed ir for me)?
(I rolled back to 20170601_g15v97_kw_u8_4m just to fix the issue)
2: Will the black notification panel be removed?!
I know I asked a lot for it, and I know you can root your device and disable the black layer but I want the stock one, just like a lot of people.
Look at the first 7.1.1 release, and see how much people hates it. I know you reported it to the developers, but it's still not changed. I'm not a
developer, but I doesn't think it's that hard to change it to the one of stock android. Or at least make it optional. Can you please give a an anwser?
Thank you.

I was out of the house all day. My internet is changing constantly from 4g to 3g and the signal strength drops to 0 and goes back to 3-4 bars according to the status display high ... I hope the bug is fixed. I think i go back to 6.0 xD

I can confirm that the touchscreen issue is just an effect of a corrupted / not properly installed OTA. I flashed the latest ROM with SPFT and unticked the "Data" and "Cache" sections so I still had my data. I also rooted my phone because I was already using SPFT. With root, I disabled the black notification background.

I still cannot remap my buttons in this update, hoping I could make press-and-hold home to be Google Assistant, and the MENU button to be replaced with APP_SWITCH (App Switcher/Multitasking.) Just like the software buttons. As the Xposed Framework doesn't support Nougat yet, I cannot remap them in a convenient way.

Comments

Xposed for Nougat is out. But not 100% Working.  Post time 2017-7-23 16:14

Hello,

I have the Android 7.1.1 version 7.01_20170601 and I want to flash this latest version (v.7.01_20170711). How should I proceed WITHOUT losing any data? I know I need to do a Firmware Upgrade rather than Download only, but what should I uncheck (things like userdata)? There is a screenshot of all the files checked, which one should I uncheck in order to flash the ROM without losing any data (apps, photos, contacts, etc)?
Thanks

Hi, Uncheck only the userdata partition and your data won't be wiped. I recommend to let the cache partition flashed - leave it checked. Updating from 7.01_20170601 is okay in Download Only mode.  Post time 2017-7-24 09:49
