Some people reported similar issues on their Umi Z Pro after the OTA. As ben said flash the software with SPFT. I can´t reproduce this issues on my phone.

Same issue here. The touchscreen is horrible. Before the last update it worked well. Very bad UMI.

Sorry but I can't either reproduce this issue. Have you flashed your phone with SP Flash Tool?

I had this after a clean SPFT (!) flash (firmware upgrade, all partitions, none restore).

For root I flashed again all partitions (except user and TWRP as recovery of course, magisk as root) . Now touchscreen sensibility is fine again.

Well, after reflashing the software with Spft, the touchscreen is still very bad. I have to swipe 3 times before the notification panel go's down...

No that easily, I believe that color is hardcoded in the Android system so unless you hack and recompile some system files or have proper Xposed module it´s a bad luck.

Double tap can be as dumb and unresponsive as it was before.

You never know whether the screen lock wallpaper will appear or not.
