After flashing TWRP, first you have to boot into recovery, then you have to install SuperSU to avoid a stuck system boot. This possible issue and the solution is mentioned in the TWRP post, so next time please try to read more attentively.

Parece ser que con este parche han solucionado gran parte de los problemas, bravo pero deberian de haberlo hecho mejor con la primera actualizacion.
Os cuento mi problema por si tuvierais solucion.
tengo el Umi Z actualizado a la ultima version UMIDIGI Z V7.01_20170711 Android 7.1.1 ROM se actualizo via OTA, el problema es que en exteriores tengo cobertura buena o muy buena 4G 3G pero cuando entramos en alguna casa o edificio el movil pierde toda la cobertura incluso hacemos pruebas de estar en la puerta con cobertura y entrar unos 4 metros dentro y desaparece, hemos probado la SIM en otros moviles en concreto un Umi Super y un Nexus 5 y esto no sucede la cobertura se mantiene o cambia de 4G a 3G.
sabeis a que puede ser debido esto? el movil no tiene golpes ni desperfectos.

I have the previous version of android 7.1.1. Can i instal the update zip doing this?:
Manual (local) OTA update method instructions
Copy the downloaded .zip file to either the internal memory or the SD card of your phone
Go to Settings --> About phone --> Wireless update
Tap the 3-dot menu button at the top right corner and select Local updates
Brows for the ...update.zip file and select it
Tap Install now, comfirm the process with OK and wait until the process will be finished

The description is rather confusing. It states that the V7.01_20170601 phones will not receive OTA update.
Does that mean you must use SPFT to update from V7.01_20170601? or you can use the OTA package posted below and use that to manually update from V7.01_20170601?
