UMIDIGI Unveils Its First Prime S-Class Product,
UMIDIGI S

We have been restlessly innovating our product line since the beginning of this year. And today, a brand new product from UMIDIGI is unveiled, the first model from the UMIDIGI's S-class, which is simply named as UMIDIGI S.

The S-class stands for the take on combining prime quality and design, through perfecting the interaction of technology and user experience. Although other information is not announced yet, there is more to be expected from this particular S model in its specs, performance, battery life, and of course, the intriguing UMI OS.

The full specs of UMIDIGI S are not known yet, but as you can realize it by the provided photo of the product, UMIDIGI S is going to feature dual rear camera setup. Design-wise, UMIDIGI S appears to be very minimalist device, especially on the back, which follows a refreshing symmetric design in combination with minimalism principle. UMIDIGI always put great emphasis on the design aspect, and UMIDIGI S devotedly continues the well-considered design concepts.

UMIDIGI S already has been listed on the front page of UMIDIGI’s official website. Click it in to get the refreshing first look, and you can even subscribe now to win one UMIDIGI S for free.

If expecting to launch globally then specification should support latest technology and bands.

"2.3Ghz, 16mm Flagship Octa-core"
What is that supposed to mean?
=> MTK MT6757 (P20) Octa-core, 2.3GHz, Cortex-A53

Look at the Z Pro.
=> MTK Helio X27, Deca-core, 2.6GHZ, Cortex-A72

Which device is now a flagship?

Sorry but I don't know. You can't see that term in the material published by me. ;)

Yes you are right.
This text is available on the UMIDIGI website.

2.3Ghz
16mm Flagship Octa-core

The MTK Helio P20, Octa-Core, 2.3GHz is really not a flagship.

The specification of the UMIDIGI S is good and largely corresponds to what I need.
I am annoyed, however, that the Rear Camera is a Samsung S5K3L8 13MP + 5MP
and here is not the same camera as the Z Pro is used.
Also the front camera (5MP GC5005) can not convince me.

Perhaps an S Pro with good cameras would be the solution.
Rear Camera
13MP SONY IMX 258 + 13MP SONY IMX 258
6-element lens
Auto-focus
Quad-LED flash
Front camera
13MP FF SAMSUNG S5K3L8
Softlight LED

I never said that this statement comes from you.
You do not have to feel attacked.

However, I find it very annoying that UMIDIGI  raised great expectations with such statements,
which are then not met.
