Hi,

Thanks for your reply,
However, before trying that, I'd need to be able to Flash something...
- Phone is connected (Windows 7 ses it, and I can see what's in UMI Super Internal Memory

But...
In Flash Tool:
- Download Agent: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1648\MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin
- Scatter-loading File: 20161121_xxxxxx\MT6755_Android_scatterxxx
- Having Selected "Firmware Upgrade"

When I click the (green) Download button, notinh hapens at all...
- No error message
Bottom line says:
- 0 B/s
- 0 Bytes
- EMMC
- High Speed
- 0.00
- USB: DA Download All (high speed auto detect)

Did I do something wrong?

Hello,

After change my screen with frame, I have my power button and the fingerprint doesn't work any more.
I can boot in factory mode but nothing more.
After turn ON by Reboot, the phone works fine but impossible to turn ON the screen with the button power.
I use the button volume to turn ON screen.
You have some solution to fix that, I don't think that my button was dead...
Thank you for you feed back.

As I didn't get a reply fir my last post, I did download the 20161017xxxx ROM, and tried to Flash it.

Exact same problem: NOTHING happens at all...
NO warnings
NO error message whatsoever
(And, of course, I did check that my laptop was not hung: Everything else is working fine on my laptop)

Definitely something wrong with my phone, although communication between my laptop and my phone
is fine, as I can read, and copy files To / From my phone to my PC

Thanks for the tip.
Wanted to try that right away.

Now Windows does not recognize my phone anymore, although it is chargig OK!!!!

(From Device Manager / Portable Devices / UMI_Super / Properties):
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

I Tried to uninstall everything related to UMI Super, and reintalled.
Still the same :-(

Now what?

Gee!
All this just for having changed a screen... and still basically nowhere!

ALL possible DETAILED help will be appreciated, Thank you

On another subject, and whenever I'll be able to get the UMI Super recognised by Windows 7-64
(I've tried just about everything now, including uninstall all UMI / MTA / VCOM related stuff in Device Manager /
Re-Install following previous posts procedures, without success so far)

Here is the next catch:
HOW can I "Switch Off" a phone that has no screen working (So that I can't select "Power Off"...)
other than taking the phone apart (again), and disconnect the battery?

Is there a magic trick, like pushing Sound Up/Down buttons at the same time as the Power button?

Otherwise, other than waiting a few days with my phone disconnected for the battery to get completely discharged,
I'd see no other option than taking it apart again, and disconnect / reconnect the battery cable from the motherboard...

Thanks in advance for your input.

When you hold power button for a long time it switches off. You feel a vibration.

Thanks for the tip!
I can feel the click of the button being pressed OK
Unfortunately, I pushed the power button for a good 2 minutes non stop at a time a few times, but nothing happenned:
The (now red) light at the bottom kepts flashing, no vibration, nothing, unfortunately. :-(

I'm really sorry if I'm a pain, but I'm stuck with these ridiculous problems.
