I have the same ghost problems on my emax. It is really annoying typing the sms. The only solution i ...

This is a sporadic issue but it seems, quite a lot of devices are affected. You shouldn't use your phone as is, of course. Unfortunately I've never get an eMAX with this problem to be able to discover the source of this issue. My own phone works perfectly from the beginning. In your case you should send back your stuff for a replacement.

As I mentioned, I was not able to discover the source of this issue, but (according to my several years experience) I guess this problem is not caused by the defection of the touch panel itself but by a bad assembling. So in fact, to replace the whole screen is not needed, just a proper insulation should be applied. Of course, without looking inside a such phone I just guess.

Is this problem related with the double tap function?

Edited by nveronski at 2015-10-13 16:01 \n\nHi, this is ongoing issue for me since i bought Emax.
Love the phone just because it lasts allmost full two days for me with regular use (i love it)

BUT!
the "Ghost Touch" is still there after few advises from this thread.
Did Factory Defaults (twise) resolved for few days.
Opened the back cover to check is the LCD+Touch panel connector are tight.
Tried other ROMs from Rootjoy, didn't stayed long until rolled back to "Original"

The last thing i'm planing is to replace the LCD+Digityzer completely
will this help, is this an issue with defective Touch panel ?

Yes, this issue is still might be caused by the defection of the touch panel and unfortunately that cannot be replaced separately. On the other hand, this is definitely covered by seller's warranty, so they should solve this problem by their own.

Well I recently flashed my emax to the new KITKAT V05 and replaced the original screen protector with the upgraded Tempered glass one and now the phone is pretty much useless.....a few days of endless ghost touches!!!! With the original screen protector/older KITKAT I only had the issue on rare occasions!!! I have ordered some standard screen protectors to see if this helps but what now??? It's always in the same place middle right side of the screen. It's obviously a major issue so what is the cause? Your guessing when you say it's an issue with the touch panel OnePlus had similar issues and it got sorted with software upgrades!!! Has anyone found a way to improve this? Any ROM or touch screen protector? ANYONE???

The only contact pins on a touch panel are at the and of its ribbon cable, that joins its mainboard connector. No open metallic areas on the surface of the touch panel. I'm sorry to ask, but have you ever disassembled a touch screen phone?

That's your decision. You can help your side by taking a video for your seller that demonstrates the issue. Normally you should never face a such problem, so you shouldn't continue to live with it.

P.s.: Next time if you edit or reedit a message, remove the 'Edited by...' lines and leave an empty line at the top to keep your text well readable.
Thank you.

That's another problem! When I want to show this issue, there is no way to force it! The phone decide by itself when it want to go crazy. I believe that I can resist. It's not so bad, actually.
