UMI eMAX Touch screen issue + Ghost touch issue

been having the ghost touch problem on and off since day 1, the other day i was somewhat glad that my umi doesnt turn on since i will have a excuse to get a new phone. turns out the battery was just flat.....

its just so unfortunate that umi is a single step short of getting out of the just another chinese company category with this ghost touch and the lollipop fiasco. i really like the phone and company but quite honestly i cant see myself buying another

During the cold dry winter time the ghost touch problem has become worse and daily for me.
Has anyone been able to reduce the ghost touching by doing some insulating or what not to the phone?

Otherwise the phone is okey but this god damn ghost touching is now getting to my nerves.

I've got an emax since last July but my phone doesn't suffer and has never suffered from this ghost touch issue. I bought it by my own, that's not a selected device. So, unfortunately I have no chance to investigate this defection. If I had a such defective phone, I could disassemble both my perfect and that bad phone to compare their assembly and to find a solution.
