bencebacsi, there is no hidden message in my post, so please do not try to read into it that way.

I'm not here to start arguments as they only become tiresome and a total waste of time. I am only here to try and help our users.

And as I've already stated. I only ever post what I know.

If you could point me to a post where I haven't done this I would be much appreciative.

Sigh... bencebacsi, I'm not sure why you have such a vendetta about me, but you really need to move on. Firstly, I haven't gone back and deleted any of my posts and we discourage it as it may remove helpful information for other users. Secondly:

- I've already addressed post 19# but you seem to be ignoring that. How can I provide "fake" information when this is what I've been told by UMI?
- post#3 - You're seriously picking a post where I clarified a few posts down (which you so conveniently ignore) that the ROM was in fact available (which UMI had only just pushed via OTA and hadn't let anyone know yet), after following up with UMI???
- post#17 - Given the user had already attempted the usual method I was offering him a solution that has worked for others as seen here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ ... 8569611&postcount=6
- post 29# - see previous point. Based on research finding what has worked for other android users and trying to help, as helping is the main goal here. But apparently that's not what I'm supposed to be doing, right? And just because I don't happen to own that device makes anything I find that might be helpful and hasn't been suggested by you completely incorrect, right?
- So now I'm making a good suggestion... but not good enough. Go it.
- post #2 and #4 - this suggestion was made after seeking assistance from UMI as I would never suggest anything without first seeking advice.

Bencebacsi, as I have already told you previously in another thread (where you also decided to insult mods), you have a great knowledge in this area and you have been a super help to many users which is much appreciated, but your relentless desire to jump on the attack once a mod posts something has got to stop. All it creates is threads being hijacked by off-topic negativity.

Your English ability seems to be fine whenever you want it to be. I guess this is not one of those times.

Hi everyone.

I've returned my Emax to the reseller I bought it from on Ebay UK. I pointed to this forum and the XDA forums as proof that quite a few people were experiencing the ghost touch screen issues and got refunded without any problems. I loved my Emax but it was unreliable with this issue. I only tried the Spanish ROM which was very good but made no difference to the screen issues. I still need another phone and I'm tempted to buy another Emax but I don't trust that it won't be trouble free anymore as some of us are reporting this problem (in fairness, I don't know the ratio of touch screen issue versus all the problem free Emax out there).

What would reassure me is to have an official statement from UMI ackowledging that there is a problem, perhaps hardware so we can be reassured. I wasted one month trying to use the phone as my only phone and struggling with the ghost touch, wondering if another ROM would solve the problem, trying different things etc.

Hi gruffles did they happen to mention when they will be releasing the next rom at all?

Also this may help others with this problem as I appear to have totally stopped my irritating fault for now by adding a different screen protector.  I do not know if it is the composition of these things or the gel adhesive they have used in them but it has done the trick for me apparently.  I got them from a company in Germany through ebay and here is the link to them:-

I sincerely hope it helps others in my position, but I am still hopeful of the correct fix for this niggly from UMI
