Phone wont turn on - Uni Max (Brand New)

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could assist me with my issue, I bought a UNI Max from Ebay for a responable price and it was brand new I have only used this device for a day and now the device will not switch on?

I know the phone is working as the red light at the bottom breifly comes back on however when I keep my hand on the power button nothing appears.  It was working fine until I left it alone for about an hour and it switched itself off and wouldn't turn back I even charged it for a little while to see if it was that and nothing.

Any ideas on what I could do to try and bring this device back to life?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you update phone? I would recommend use SPFT and flash your phone as you are not sure what happened.

Hi Southendfan2017,
I have exactly the same issue regarding my phone.
I can not update my phone, because it is not recognise by my computer, even if I have updated usb drivers for UMI.
Did you have any update to fix your/our issue ?

I had bought my phone 8 months ago in gearbest site, but they do not want to take it back for repairing or replacing it.
They have only offered me 25 US Dollar's vouchers to shut my mouth.
I considered this site as thiefs.

There is no more explanation for flashing process.
You can search in Google for some of Windows issues etc.
$ 25 can be enough to diagnose and buy needed parts for your device.

Thanks for your post.
I agree that repairing my phone will not necessarily cost so much, but my point is that I am not please about Gearbest solution.
My phone is under warranty, so I had expected that this company will try to repair it, but they do not bother about their clients.

Please also look from other side. If you want repair phone in Gearbest you still need cover shipping cost (most time one way). But now they offered to you some money refund. You need decide yourself which solution you want use.
