Strange behaviour Umi Max

I don't receive notifications for whatsapp, facebook messenger or any other chat apps. I receive notifications from Gmail, and the other 3 apps i have installed. The issue started all of the sudden like 2 weeks ago. I use my mode as battery profile, i don't use intelligent power savers, all is at max power. The strange thing is that if i turn on the display, i have to access whatsapp to see if i have new messeges, this also happens to facebook messenger. In android settings the app isn't blocked so i don't have any clue why this is happening. Thank you guys!

Update: if i plugin the charger i receive all messages instantly. Again, as a battery mode i use my mode ...

Have you checked wifi setting make sure keep wifi on during sleep set as always. Also check the app settings to allow notification.

Go to settings - battery - top right there dots - battery saver - on and change turn on automatically never. Also you can check background task clear.
