Firstly do your research ! Pay on credit card you have some backing. Maybe mobile insurance plan just incase

Its hard but umi aren't bad they just have limited back up if things go wrong, its not a £700 iPhone / Samsung

Hi,
I had my first UMI Plus (grey) in november. It died in June. I sent it back to banggood and they received it in July. They told me it would take about 6 weeks to be fixed and returned. In the meantime, I had to buy another phone (Axon 7). After less than 2 months, I complained to banggood that it was too long and they offered to send me a new one (gold color only). I received it yesterday. Although it was too long, I didn't expect to see my phone ever again. The only small problem is that the new UMI Plus is not compatible with TWRP.

If you sum up all expenses occured, and add it on th etop of device initial cost, you could have bought a real phone instead, like a oneplus or similar !

UMI and Banggood are absolutely terrible in terms of product and customer service. They rip you off and smile to your face. Terrible companies, should be bankrupt and out of business

Listen to this. I pre-ordered and paid upfront for UMI Crystal from Ali Express. They have only just dispatched my order (25/09/2015) who knows when it will arrive with a terrible shipping service that they quote 15 - 45 days for delivery.

Its been available on Amazon with next day delivery for 2 weeks already.

You'd of thought loyal customers who pre-ordered would get their handsets first.

Never will pre order a Umi phone from AliExpress ever again. Very disappointing.

Had the exact same thing. Ordered the first day available and received notice of shipment yesterday. Although it's just a notice, can't track anything yet.

We offers a full post-sales support. Our company is composed of more than 10 technicians specialized in smartphone repairments.
Our handicap: we pay a lot of taxes and our prices are higher than in China or similar websites. Amazon is not better, in www.umispain.es we are dotted with a lot of claims for Amazon sales.
But it is also the fault of the consumer who prefers to buy evading taxes.
