Edited by odedshankar at 2017-3-12 11:47 \n\nMarcinP, no intention to be rude, and nothing personal in my note above, apologies if it sounded like that.
You are one of the most helping users in this forum.
But, it sounds like you're trying to over protect the UMI team.
My believe is that if they are selling a device with specific features as a sale point like a large long lasting battery, they should be actually working to make it happen. And they don't - what they actually doing is integration of many supposably good quality components without doing proper software integration and optimisations and that is the result. We are clients, we don't need to take measurements- that is the R&D team responsibility, they should take care of their bugs properly and do not release products without proper beta/alpha QA procedures - which is obvious they didn't do on the Z to begin with.

Do sound funny if 100 - 50 % last longer than 50 - 0 % charge do, i would assume the top 50% of a battery is the same as the bottom 50% of the charge.

See what's consuming more energy in the battery graph.

Thre i have:

Inactive phone 71%
wifi 65 % ( which i find strange as i dont really use wifi, and its always off as default here )
Google services 11%
Screen 10%

ASO

I am inclined to think maybe this new CPU dont throttle back at least not as far as it could do, but it do freak me out that wifi is 65% when i dont really use that stuff.
Even OTA updates i do over phone connection and not wifi, as long as they dont come thick and fast my data plan have no problem keeping up.

Also my phone say 41% left right now or 23 hours, some how i dont believe that will hold up.
Anyway tonight while sleeping i will charge my phone, and then i will make damn sure to not use wifi in the days to come, and if i should be unlucky and get a phone call or 2 i will time it.

Needless to say to dont do any "smart" stuff with my phone, so this should be fair to say is just pure idling.

A experiment i think most of you cant do unless you have a secondary phone, but i can do this with my one and only phone with no problem.

O i just looked at wifi, it say its been on for 1 day and 23 hours, thats about how long it was since i last charged my phone, i am not sure if this is a total time counter thats been counting since last factory reset, anyway i am quite sure i have not used wifi for anyway near that long.

And i am pretty strict with wifi as i hate it, so if i had it on you can be assured i will remember to turn it off again.

Edited by Baki at 2017-2-17 15:34 \n\nI have charged my phone last night to 100% at 11pm.
At 8:00 am this morning, being just on standby (no wifi, bt, location etc.) with two active sims it shows 97%.
This should be further enhanced (at least overnight) with the usage of a battery saving profiles ("Intelligent", at least) but they are in a conflict with a wifi randomly turning it on and off.
I have already reported this.

It is an issue, my battery drains just on standby. It lasts just during the day, period. And if I use GPS and WiFi I have to charge it during the day.
