UMIDIGI launched three full screen smartphone models in 2017, the UMIDIGI crystal, UMIDIGI S2 and UMIDIGI S2 Pro. All of them got so much attention from users and media, and in fact, these smartphones achieved a great successes in 2017. Following the full screen full view trend, now UMIDIGI is announcing another full screen smartphone, a more affordable but still feature-rich version of UMIDIGI S2, the UMIDIGI S2 Lite.

It is not wrong to bring new phones on the market, but you should also keep the software stable. Regular updates are important too. Umi should prevail in MTK and release the source code. The dignity of umidigi will save a lot of money and time, because the community can provide itself with Custom Roms. That in turn would increase umi's sales. Apparently Umidigi does not think so far ...

I am afraid about it, but now it is clear - from facebook "UMIDIGI S2 Lite, the first full-screen smartphone with Android 8.1 upgrade (via OTA)". So without Project Treble, because it will start with nugat :-(. So goodbye Umi(digi) because snapdragon and nfc was good news.
