Nope, its not T-Mobile USA.
Went back to the T-Mobile shop where i bought the pre-paid card.
They changed it for a new card.
Still same problem with the INCALLUI app. Can not anwers or sent calls.The T-moble person said it is a SOFTWARE ISSUE.


Friend of mine has UMI-Touch, 2 years old and never had a problem with T-Mobile USA prepaid card.
He also took UMI-Touch phone to New Zealand and used a Vodaphone prepaid card without a problem,


The UMI S models suck! Stay away from it.


Nice forum but never a response from UMI technicians or UMI sales with the offer to send the phone back to China free of charge and to fix it.
UMI dealers do not give a Shugar!!!

First of all check whether you have any problems with imei. I also use Tmobile on USA on Umidigi s2 pro. I had the same problem with almost every carrier. But there is a workaround. YOu can disable the app 'incallui' and then install a third party dialer. Actually majority of third party dialer didn't work for me but later 'drupe' worked and its a great dialer. Hope it helps.

You seem to be more worried about the price than coming up with an easy solution.


Listen buddy, I am a 70 old senior and bought a UMI phone that still is a lemon / dud.
Why would any one have to go through difficult tech stuff to get these S phones working.
My S 5.5 has the same problem as the guy on page 1 of this thread.
S 5.5 or S2, S2 Pro or lite. Who gives a toss. These / some S phones are all having the same INCALLUI errors.
I put my experience on this thread to share with others who bought S phones.
Does not matter what S version or what thread.


My phone is going back to UMI in China with my experience about the dealer and this phone, and this forum.
Although UMI does want you to send it back to the dealer. But dealers can no longer be trusted.

I tried to download the Google dialer from the Google app store.
But the APP refused to install on my UMI S 5.5 (not to confuse with the S2 and Pro).
APP error message" can not be installed on your device".

Thank you for your advice with the ROM.

But that is not a thing I want to do. I am 70 years.


I want a phone that works out of the box. NO HASSLES with crooked dealers.


We need an offer from UMI to ship these phones back to China FREE OF CHARGE, have them fixed and ship them back free of charge.


UMI ARE YOU LISTENING? Complaints about your products are all over the internet.
Obviously UMI does not give a toss.
