So, if I got this right, the Mercury silver edition will come later than the regular S2 Pro? If so, how much later are we talking about?

Now that is stupid. All of these things should have been resolved atleast a week before pre-order so people could have time to decide

NFC is planned to be available in the Mercury Silver edition only but that's a future product.

I was asking because of this comment because i would like the Mercury Silver but don't want to wait too long for it.

@Bencebacsi

Hello Bencebacsi!

Before I make my preorder for the S2 Pro, I'd like you to confirm that:

1) BOTH of the Sony sensors of the back cameras are used, e.g. that they can be accessed by the OS, and third party photo apps.

2) that the stock photo app can handle RAW files, e.g. that the [android.hardware.camera2 API] is fully implemented.
I'd also like to know that the stock app has "flagship" capabilities, e.g. that I have some manual control (PRO mode),
AND that the auto focus works as you would expect, that is, that it will focus every time I ask it to do so...

The reason for asking is that my Crystal 4/64GB only has one working back camera (see numerous posts in the Crystal section...)
and some weird behaviour with RAWs (can only save in the rather mediocre stock app, but not in other apps that handles RAWs on
[android.hardware.camera2 API] enabled phones, like CameraFV-5, A Better Camera, Lightroom camera app, etc.) and also that
the auto focus on my Crystal very easily becomes tired and refuses to work...

So, before I lay another US$ 300+ on the table I would like some assurances!

I have not tested my S yet for both sensors working, but I fear the worst... and the RAW implementation on the S is also strange,
where third party apps can save RAWs, but the stock camera app can't...

Thanks/Erich

@Bencebacsi

Hi
The weak point of the UMI among others was always the problem of the camera and I do not believe that they had made great improvements.
On the other hand the software team is very weak, little develop, and if you look at the dozens of models that have left in the last 2 years, you will see that in that aspect little has changed.
I would bet on another " horse "
