Have a One Pro a week now. Also have some of the same issues.

- Using a Qi charger, including the Q1, causes the screen digitizer to go erratic. Turning off the screen and turning back on will cure the issue.
- Wireless charging seems erratic. Sometimes the phone gets hot, but hasn't charged (Umidigi Q1 using the power supply from the One Pro)
- NFC works fine, but does not remember its state. It's off on every boot.
- Notification area either side of the notch seems to be using some sort of overlay and cannot be customized. Actual notification icons from Gmail, Facebook, SMS messages etc, do not appear here. IMHO it's more important to have these icons than a clock.
- Notification LED cannot be customized. Blue flash every three seconds, regardless of the app.
- Apps not starting on boot (so no notification LED either!)
- Volume on earpiece is way too low. Can barely hear calls.

@MarcinP @bencebacsi
Can the Admin and/or Moderator confirm that the problem with apps not starting after reboot has been notified to the developers?

Unfortunately your hardware could be affected with some internal fault causing interferences durin ...

OK, this is getting ridiculous.
As for the issue of apps not starting on reboot, it is not about all apps being launched on reboot and staying in RAM all the time.
The problem is that communication apps are not loaded in RAM and allowed push notifications (in cases of WhatsApp, Viber, etc), and other apps which have the 'start on boot' permission are not allowed to start on boot.
All these apps are restrained and kept closed and non-working until manually open.
Which is a problem, don't you think?
No other system that I know of does this! None.
So, do you think it's time you notify the developers of the issue?

You should be held accountable for the money Umidigi loses by your indifference and lack of action. Potential buyers usually first visit forums to see how a phone is performing, and everyone looking to buy an Umidigi One (Pro) and visiting this forum will decide not to buy the phone, which is a big financial loss for Umidigi.

Thank you very much for this. Now, if only Umidigi developers could take a look at the code and implement it..  Post time 2018-10-18 16:11

I have a problem with my UMIDIGI one pro. The applications do not start automatically when I start the phone. I have enabled the tasks in the background, I have omitted the optimization of the battery and I can not get applications such as WhatsApp, Garmin Connect, etc to be activated automatically.    Could you tell me what I have to do?

Edited by remix007 at 2018-9-17 21:22 \n\nHi. I just go the one pro and I was very pleased about functionality and RAM/ROM and CPU Power, specs. why I ordered this phone. But after a few days usage I'm very disappointed about power management. It last's not 24h in standby, when using with features like GPS, WLAN, Data or Bluetooth the battery drain is very high, working is limited to a few fours only!

My phone did an update right away after unpacking and first installation. Actually Kernel Version 4.4.95+ and Build No. V2.0.20180518 showing in properties.

One more Issue: Tried to use "XTrom Wireless fast charging pad" but the screen is flickering around, wild entering / leaving applications and perform actions like the screen would have been touched. I saw enabling / disabling different checkboxes but as fast that I didn't see exactly where the phone was messing around during this shot time loading trial.

Is there a solution, hint or update about battery usage or any suggestions what wireless charger to use? In Banggood I didn't find any suggestion what wireless charger to order when ordering the phone.

Thx. remix007

And what about Google certification - will be?

Each Android 8.1 UMIDIGI model comes with GMS certification, so the One and One Pro won't be different. Otherwise Google apps and services could not be used.

System will be not protected with some special partitions because there will be stock android installed so root should be possible.
