I received my Umidigi S2 one day ago and it stopped completely.
The phone has at least 50% battery.
Charging it did not fix the issue.
The only visible sign is the red blinking LED at the speaker level.
Any idea ?

Phone screen stays black, no matter what button I press.
I tried connecting it to my computer, it isn't detected, not even as mass storage device.
I honestly think the motherboard is dead, after 24 hours of usage.
Will contact the online store where I bought it, very disappointed in my first Umidigi phone.

Edited by umis2 at 2017-11-24 07:38 \n\n Edited by umis2 at 2017-11-24 07:37 \n\nYou can boot into recovery by powering on your phone while pressing down the volume-up button. That will call the bootloader and there you can scroll in the list with the vol-up button and select with the vol.down button. wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition
reboot system now.

The phone can't get turned on, it can't boot in recovery mode either.

Also, it isn't detected as a USB device by my linux machine.

SPTool / fastboot / adb, none of them seems to pick up the device.

I don't want to void the warranty and I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue by now ( after 1 day of use...).
