Edited by jkmarold55 at 2017-11-15 08:48 \n\nWaterproofing:
A phone is more than a metal object that enables you to call others It's a versatile device capable of letting you speak to a relative as if they were right next to you. It's designed to be in your hand whenever life's greatest moments are happening. However, the greatest problem with mobile devices today is that what good is a phone at capturing life's most precious moments if if cannot survive to take them? To me, the waterproofing feature is more than an extra knack. It's a necessity. I believe that Umidigi's innovative efforts to bring true waterproofing to their phones allows me, an average person at home, to take pictures of my family without having to worry about losing my precious memories in the water. It allows me to take my phone to new heights, to take risks I would never have been able to do before because I will always know that with an Umidigi S2 Pro, I never have to worry about anything, because my data will always be safe.

Face ID:
Face ID is an innovative feature to be sure, but in my opinion, it's rather unnecessary and problematic. I'm going to give you an honest and straight answer because I looked through other replies to this question and those people think that by giving one sentence answers on whether they want Face ID or not helps at all. I want to be different from the rest of the people entering this contest by giving you a truthful answer rather than one sentence begging for a phone. Here's what my thoughts are on the feature.

Apple and Samsung seem to keep releasing phones that add extra quirks and features that don't really make sense, and while Face ID is very cool, it is unsecure in some ways, makes you have to stop what you are doing in order to scan your face, and doesn't add much to the user experience. What I love about Umidigi is that it is able to do everything those big companies are able to do without being expensive and by keeping things simple. To me, Umidigi believes that phones aren't just toys, they're pieces of technology that allow you to do anything you want with it without making any sacrifices. By keeping Face ID out of the S2 pro, I think that they keep things simple but highly functional while maintaining their INCREDIBLE touch ID which is super accurate and feels great (My friend has an Umidigi G and the Touch ID on it is VERY good!!!). Umidigi prides itself on being devoted to its customers by giving them awesome features at great prices, and by keeping and improving Touch ID, they will continue to be one of the best phone makers in the industry.

Keep being awesome Umidigi,
-Jake

I'd love to have a waterproof smartphone cause using it in the rain, when you do the dishes, or someone calls you when you are in a shower os very difficult.

Face ID would be a nice feature to keep up with the competition, but fingerprint scanner is already very safe..
